On Building a Chemical Works(關(guān)于興建化工廠)
在某學(xué)校附近擬興建一座化工廠。請(qǐng)你以該校學(xué)生的名義寫一篇英語(yǔ)短文，陳述反對(duì)興建此化工廠的理由。短文要包含以下要點(diǎn)：

On Building a Chemical Works
Most students of out, school, includingme, think it is wrong to build a chemical works near our school. Although the works will make a lot of money for our city, we do think it will do us more harm than good. First, the drinking water will be badly polluted. Of course, they have promised to do something to prevent the water from being polluted, but it is far from enough. Second, the air over the city will be polluted, too. We will never be able to breathe fresh air. How can we live here any longer? What's more, the site of the chemical works has been the only place where we students play games and have sports after school. Where would we go if it were occupied? For the above reasons, we do hope the project will be cancelled.
關(guān)于興建化工廠
我們學(xué)校的大多數(shù)同學(xué)，包括我在內(nèi)，認(rèn)為在我們學(xué)校附近興建化工廣是不對(duì)的。盡管該廠可為本市賺不少錢，但危害大于好處。首先，嚴(yán)重污染飲用水。他們當(dāng)然答應(yīng)將來(lái)取措施防止水的污染，但這是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)木夠的。其次，也造成本市的空氣污染。我們將不能再呼吸到新鮮空氣，怎能在此生活呢?而且，所選的廠址是我們學(xué)生放學(xué)后做游戲和運(yùn)動(dòng)的唯一場(chǎng)所，如果被占用了，我們到哪里去呢?由于上述原因，我們真的希望取消這項(xiàng)工程。
