春節(jié)的英語(yǔ)作文 篇1

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is sometimes called the ear on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year's Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means ear-pass Eve

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese , and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service issues New Year's themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated

with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “l(fā)ongevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 20xx earor 4646.

春節(jié)的英語(yǔ)作文 篇2

One of my most memorable Spring Festival is the Spring Festival of 20xx, which was spent at my grandmother's home in shandong province. Though it's been two years, the memory is still in my mind like yesterday, and I still remember it.

I remember that at four or five o 'clock in the morning of the New Year, I was awakened by the sound of firecrackers, and I could hear my mother Shouting, "get up, go to the big year, set off firecrackers and eat dumplings." I a carp sit up, stretch, rubs the sleepy eyes say: get up too early, the sky is still black. There is a custom in grandma's Spring Festival: which firecracker has been released early, which can get up early, which has long been on behalf of which is very industrious, and hard work is the forecast for a good harvest in the coming year. So everyone is scrambling to get up early, set off firecrackers and make dumplings.

Adults are busy in front of the pot, mother see I lazy moved hurriedly said: "wake up, go with my uncle set off firecrackers, one heard that set off firecrackers to god, the rapid wear good clothes, I jumped off the kang, grabbed the fireworks with my uncle came to court, grabbed the lighter and a bunch of fireworks are lit up, I'm covering her ears, no stamp the70sduring sounded good. A second "kick", only to hear a thud on the ground, then a blast in the air, deafening. "Quick quick, come to eat jiaozi quickly, wait for a New Year to come." Half a bowl of jiaozi had not yet been eaten, and I heard a sound of footsteps and laughter in the yard, and I realized immediately that it was time to visit my grandmother. In a few minutes, the room was lively, with the voices of men, women and children, the laughter of children, and the sound of their melons and seeds. They were all dressed in bright colors and full of spirit. Thus, I went to a group of people, and I joined with my mother to join me in the New Year.

春節(jié)的英語(yǔ)作文 篇3

There are a lot of things that make people happy in the Spring Festival. What makes me happy is that my brother and I go downstairs and put firecrackers down.

I remember the evening of the new year thirty, after we finished the reunion dinner, my brother and I ran like a fly, and in the small garden, I thought about how to play more fun. Finally, we came up with a good idea, brother of earth dug with an iron bar, then I will be a lit "mine" thrown in, brother just quickly buried on the soil. Then, we hide behind a tree, and so we have unfinished paternity hide, only to hear "bang behind!" A loud, both my brother and I are mud, we are scared Yizheng first, then look like each other's music ha ha. This time, two times, three times... All the time we had finished the cannons in our hands, and we turned into "mud dolls" and stopped. Then, we put rockets, mouse gun....... What we like most is the mouse gun, and it "squeaks" when it flies out. It's like saying, "I want God!" I want God? Clumsy sand? Hemorrhoids?

When the bell of new year is going to ring, fireworks begin to smell everywhere in the dark sky. The colorful fireworks are blooming in the night like flowers. My brother and I are all excited to shout.

The Spring Festival is the day the children play, adults or visiting relatives and friends of the day. My mother took me to the East, the west, and had a lot of good times with my friends and friends.

  The Spring Festival, how unforgettable!

During the Spring Festival, every household will stick to the Spring Festival couplets and make dumplings. But for children, setting off firecrackers is a great pleasure for the Spring Festival.

Every Spring Festival, children are always in knots around a group, most of those who shot, who shot the loudest. This does not, cousin is holding their firecrackers, came downstairs that has long been fireworks beautiful playground. The cousin laughed and said, "we are better than one of the fireworks." "Good!" Suddenly "wind" sound, fireworks, the sky, the next "bang", fireworks cracked, countless colorful fireworks in the night sky from the shot, and a bit more color. Look, that group of fireworks is like a fairy, dancing with silk and satin. A finished fireworks little friend asked me: "elder sister, laughing he could put some fireworks?" Before I answer, my cousin will open the chatterbox no problem!" After a couple of answers, more fireworks were snapped, snapped and snapped by his cousin on the night sky. Is the night sky more attractive, and the fireworks that are blooming in the sky, like the smiles of younger brothers and sisters, are so lovely? In the laughter, the fireworks have been finished, my cousin took the fireworks after gun left empty when football, that gun shell on the ash has been covered with his hand when he kicked the ball playing tired, with a hand to wipe the sweat, but turned himself into a big cat. The children's laughter around Huan, cousin also smiled, I also smiled......
